New Delhi, August 16: On the occasion of India's Independence day, Ola electric launched the first series of its much-anticipated e-scooter at the event. The Ola S1 will come in two variants S1 and S1 Pro at a price of Rs 99,999 and Rs 129,999 respectively.
The Ola S1 and S1 Pro prices may differ across India depending on the state subsidy in your region. The scooter will be offered in 10 color options including blue, black, white, grey, and shades of red and yellow. The two scooters are open for purchase starting the 8th of September and deliveries will commence in October.
Ola S1
Price: Rs 99,999
Battery
The Ola S1 packs a 2.9kWh battery pack and delivers 8.5kW peak power. The battery can be charged in about 6 hours with a 750W portable charger or up to 50% using an Ola Supercharger in just 18 minutes.
Speed
The Ola S1 is capable of going from 0kmph to 40kmph in just 3 seconds, along with achieving a top speed of up to 115kmph. On a single charge, the vehicle can go up to 181kms.
Feature
The Ola S1 will come with a Reverse Mode that will help users pull out of tight traffic along with a Hill Hold feature that will prevent any rollback on uphill slopes.
The Ola S1 is also powered by MoveOS, a new operating system that will be able to control the scooter's functionality via its touchscreen interface. It comes with a number of sensors that can sense when the user comes near the scooter or moves away from it, locking and unlocking itself on its own. The Ola S1 features built-in speakers that will allow users to play music as well as take calls on the go.

Battery
The Ola S1 Pro also comes with a 8.5kW motor but features a larger 3.9kW battery. The S1 Pro also gets a ‘Hyper’ riding mode in addition to the Normal and Sport riding modes.
Speed
The S1 Pro will have a range of 181 km per charge and a top speed of 115 km/hour. The S1 Pro can achieve 0-40 kmph in 3 seconds and 0-60 kmph in just 5 seconds.
Feature
The scooter comes with multiple performance modes to prefer either power or battery life, including a cruise control mode.The S1 Pro variant gets a hill-hold function, cruise control, and voice assistant functions; these aren’t available on the S1.
